Electric discharge in gases
Electrical power generation is the process of creating electric ability from sources of major energy. For electric tools, it is the first process in the delivery of electricity to consumers. The other processes as transmission, distribution, energy storage space and recovery using pumped-storage methods are usually carried away by the electric electricity industry. Electricity is most often made at a power station by electromechanical generators, mainly driven by heat engines fuelled by combustion or nuclear transmutation but also by other means including the kinetic energy of flowing water and wind. Other energy options include solar photovoltaics and geothermal power.
